PART III: PRIVACY POLICY AND DATA PROTECTION #
1. Personal Data Administrator #
The data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Glaucus TC sp. z o. o.

2. Fundamental Principle: 100% Privacy and Offline Architecture #
The DJMP-007 application was created to fully respect the privacy of artists and users:
- No telemetry: The application does not contain any hidden trackers, analytical SDKs (e.g. Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics) or User behavior profiling modules.
- No advertising: No advertising is displayed in the application, which excludes the transmission of advertising identifiers (Google Ad ID) to third parties.
- Local processing: All sound processing, BPM analysis, sound wave calculations and artificial intelligence track separation (AI Stems) take place only locally on the processor (CPU/NEON) of the user's device. No audio samples are sent to external cloud servers.
3. Scope of Permissions and Access to the Device Memory #
- Access to audio files (Storage Access Framework):
The application uses only the standard, secure Android Storage Access Framework (SAF) system mechanism. The application gains access only and only to those files and directories that the User consciously indicates using the + FILES or + DIRECTORY dialog box. The application does not scan private documents, photos or other memory areas.
- Network Permissions (Internet & Wi-Fi):
- MPAirLinkDJ: Uses local UDP Broadcast packets within the wireless network to synchronize the rate between connected smartphones. This data only contains the bar number, position in milliseconds and BPM value - no personal data is transmitted.
- SoundCloud: When using streaming, the connection to SoundCloud servers is made via the secure HTTPS protocol only to download the audio stream selected by the User.
4. SoundCloud Login and Integration #
- Login to your SoundCloud account takes place in an isolated, secure Android WebView system component directly on the official SoundCloud servers.
- Glaucus TC sp. z o. o. never accesses, records or stores your passwords to your Google, Facebook, Apple or SoundCloud accounts.
- The session authorization token downloaded from the official server is saved only in the encrypted, private cache of the Application on the User's device and can be deleted at any time by clicking the 'LOG OUT FROM SoundCloud' button in the Options.
5. User Rights #
Pursuant to the GDPR, each User has the right to access, rectify, delete or limit data processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland). In matters related to privacy, please contact us at: dev@glaucus.pl.
6. Changes to the Privacy Policy #
Any changes to this policy will be published in the application and on the official product website along with the version number and effective date.
